They were a prominent family in Adamsville and the surrounding area and married into many of the same families as the Shirers, the Bainters, Shrigleys, Shirers, Hanks, Geller, Richardsons and Shoemakers. The Snoots family also came from Loudoun Co., VA along with many of Muskingum residents. Henry Snoots is the only one of her lines that came to Muskingum but their blood runs deep in many of us and those who aren;t related were profoundly touched by this family in one way or another.
