She was born in Danville, Ohio, and had been employed by the M. O'Neil Co. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Florida, and Feather Rock Retirement Village in Florida. Mrs. Shorder was preceded in death by son, James, in 1968, and is survived by husband, John; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Kathline of Akron, Robert and Joyce of Dayton, Terry and Shirley of Akron, Dennis and Leila of Simi Valley (Los Angeles), Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and William Lindner of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Janet Bowen of Massillon; sisters, Louise Diehl of Medina, Gwendolyn Slaughter of Painted Post, N.Y.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:30 a.m., at Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., and at 12 noon at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. Ashes interred at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
