MRS. JANE STANTON


    Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Jane Stanton, 75, widow of Owen Stanton, former Newark resident, Wednesday night in her home in Lakewood.


    Mrs. Stanton resided in Newark about 50 years, the Stanton home being at North Morris and Lawrence streets. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church.


    Surviving are a son, W. L. Stanton, a daughter, Mrs. Roy H. Shirer, both of Lakewood; also one brother, C. C. Cummings of Newark, and three sisters, Mrs. Stephen Davis and Mrs. John Williams of Newark, and Mrs. Alexander Gault of West Carlisle.


    The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon in the Gutliph & Henderson mortuary and burial will be made in Cedar Hill cemetery.
