Note*   In the "History of Muskingum County, Ohio" by J. F. Everhart, the followin is written about Julius:

"The youthful days of Julias A. Bainter were spent in Monroe township, and in 1857 he started out to do for himself. He was married to Miss Margaret Adams, since which time he has resided on the Adams' farm. His wife was born February 7, 1840, a daughter of George and Christina Adams. To Julius Bainter and his wife the following children were born: Henry H., who is married and living near home; Homer, who died at the age of three years; Hayman who died when one year old; Harvey, who is married and living in Missouri; Bruce, who is married and resides in Adamsville; George F., who resides in Cleveland; Nina B., Nora D., John W., Harmon G., and Jennie. Mr Bainter and a number of his children belong to the Lutheran church. He is a democrat politically a public-spirited citizen and an earnest Christian. He has a well-improved farm of 144 acres, and is engaged in general farming, in which he has been more than ordinarily successful."1
