Village, Died Suddenly at His

Home in Youngstown


Wilbur C. Hanks died suddenly at his home in Youngstown, Ohio, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1919/ His wife, who is employed in one of the Youngstown stores, was in New York city purchasing goods for her department when his death occurred, and the particulars of his last illness and death could not be learned.



The deceased was the son of John D. and Mary Hanks and was born near Adamsville October 25, 1871. He was the youngest of a family of six children. Two brothers preceded him to the grave. Two brothers and one sister survive him. They are C. H. Hanks, of this village; H. L. Hanks, of Canton, and Mrs. Laura Horn, of Dresden.



After reaching manhood Mr. Hanks moved to Zanesville where he was engaged in business for a number of years. Eleven years ago he moved from Zanesville to Youngstown, Ohio, where he has been employed as a travelling salesman.



His wife survives him. He had no children.



Funeral services were conducted in Youngstown Monday and the remains were interred in the cemetery at that place.
