TATE, GERALD, 70, of Port Richey, died Friday (Aug. 27, 1999) at home. He came here seven years ago from his native Decatur, Ill., and was an Army veteran. He was a member of Victorias Believers Pentacostal Fellowship, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Moose Lodge, Meadow Oaks Golf Club and River Ridge Golf Club. Survivors include his wife, Gale; a son, Troy, Decatur; a daughter, Terry Taylor, Decatur; three brothers, Richard, Ocala, Kenneth, Decatur, and Dewy, Kansas; three sisters, Charline Ratcliff and Marcella Jones, both of Decatur, and Linda Poland, Montoon, Ill.; and three grandchildren. Prevatt Funeral Home, Hudson.

GERALD TATE

GERALD TATE, 70, of Port Richey died Friday at his home. A native of Decatur, Ill., he moved to the area in 1992 from Decatur. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Victoria's Believers Fellowship Pentecostal Church. He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Gale; a son, Troy T. of Decatur; a daughter, Terry Taylor of Decatur; three brothers, Richard of Ocala, Kenneth of Decatur, and Dewy of Kansas; three sisters, Charline Ratcliff and Marcella Jones, both of Decatur, and Linda Poland of Mantoon, Ill.; and three grandchildren. Prevatt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Hudson/Bayonet Point.

DECATUR - Gerald Lee Tate Sr., 70, Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Decatur, troubleshooter for Auto Air Conditioning Manufacturer, died Friday (Aug. 27, 1999). Member: Victorias Believers Fellowship and American Legion.



Survivors: wife, Gale R., Port Richey; son, Troy T., Decatur; daughter, Terry Taylor, Decatur; brothers, Richard, Ocala, Fla.; Kenneth, Decatur; Dewy, Kansas; sisters, Linda Polan, Mattoon; Charline Ratcliff and Marcella Jones, both of Decatur; three grandchildren.
