Note*   George's obituary gives the date of the funeral services on the same day as his death Thursday, June 8, 1920. The records of the Shirer Funeral Home that conducted the arrangements gives the date as June 10, 1920 a date that would make much more sense. It would take more than a few hours to prepare a funeral.
