Frank Shirer, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Shirer, was killed in an automobile accident at Salt Lake City, Utah, Tuesday, June 4, 1918. His parents who are now residents of Newark, Ohio, survive him. Dr. J. G. Shirer, Miss Macre Shirer and Roy and FLay Shirer, all of Newark, are brothers and sister of the unfortunate man.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Hanks, Mr. G. H. Shrigley and Mrs. F. G. Dean of this village went to Newark Monday to attend the funeral, the remains having been brought to that city for burial.
