News/Obit* 23 July 1903  Obituary,

To her Reward, Mrs. Louisa J. Littick is called. A good woman whose life was filled with sorrow and suffering but did her whole duty.

Mrs Louisa J. Littick passed peacefully from a life of sorrow and suffering to the life of eternal where pain and suffering are unknown at 8:15 o'clock Wednesday morning at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Smith on Eppley Avenue, aged 65 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Doughty of Madison Township and was born September 21, 1838. She was united in marriage to John Stewart. of Adams Township, April 17, 1862. He fell victim to the ravages of the civil war, dying from a gun-shot wound while with his regiment in West Virginia on the Fouth of July, 1864. His widow and little daughter were left with the consolation that he died for his country.

On March 22, 1870, Mrs. Stewart was married to Thomas Littick, of Adamsville, and to them were born two children, Jesse A. Littick and Mrs. H. C. Smith. Besides her children she leaves these step-children: John B. Littick of Onaga Kansas, C.S. Littick of Dresden, Mrs. Rebecca Woodward of North Jackson Ohio and W. O. Littick of this city. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: James Doughty of California, William R. Doughty of Adamsville, George Doughty of Iowa, Mrs. R. H. Beers and Mrs. W. H. Shirer of Dresden, Mrs Lewis Bowden of Flora Ill., Mrs. C. C. Aler of Columbus, and Ollie, Bruce and Merle Doughty of Adamsville.
