| News/Obit* | 27 June 1946 | LULU L. WEBRECK Mrs. Lulu L. Webreck, 47, wife of Robert D. Webreck, Berlin R.D. 2, died Saturday evening at her home after an illness of about two weeks. She was the daughter of the late James B. and Grace L. (Guinty) Leydig and was born in Butler County, Kansas, Aug. 24, 1898. Her father was a prominent farmer and oil operator in Kansas. Her marriage to Robert D. Webreck of Northampton Twp., a veteran of World War I, soon after the end of that war, proved to be a very happy one. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons: James Robert, at present serving in the U.S. Navy in Bainbridge, Md.; Richard Milton and William Frederick, at home. Mrs. Webreck was a faithful member of the Berlin Evangelical and Reformed Church, an active member of the Second Society of Farm Women, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Auxiliary of the American Legion. Friends were received at the beautiful Webreck farm home one mile north of Berlin, where funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Herman C. Snyder officiating. Interment in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Berlin under direction of Johnson & Son. Mrs. Webreck will long be remembered for the acts of kindness and generosity she showed to all whom she knew to be in need.
