Mary Lee Werts, 60, of Chariton died of a stroke Thursday at Charter Community Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Fielding Funeral Home here, with burial in the Russell Cemetery. Miss Werts was born in Chariton, and had lived here for two years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her mother, Alice Werts of Chariton; and two brothers, James Werts and Burton Werts, both of Chariton. Friends may call from 3 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa Regular Baptist Camp at Ankeny.
