Died Suddenly at Her Home

in Zanesville Brought

Here for Burial


    Mrs. D. H. Virts, aged about 64 years, died suddenly of heart trouble at her home in Zanesville, Friday morning, June 9, 1922.


    The maiden name of the deceased was Orem and she was a native of
Virginia. In the latter part of the seventies she located in Adams township where she was united in marriage to D. H. Virts in 1879. For a number of years after marriage
she lived in the Adamsville vicinity and is still well remembered by a number of the citizens in and around
this village.


    Besides her husband she is survived by two sons and one daughter,
Guy Virts, of Washington township, Charles Virts and Marcella Carpenter, of Zanesville. One son preceded her to the grave. One sister, Elisa Roxanna Orem, of Zanesville, also survives her. Funeral services were conducted in the Adamsville Baptist church Sunday forenoon by Rev. Mr. Smith and the remains were interred in the cemetery at that place.
