George Edwards Died at His
Home in Newark Monday


    Death came to George Edwards of Newark at his home there Monday evening as a fina result of a severe attack of influenza which he suffered early this spring.


    He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Edwards, and as a boy and young man lived on a farm near Fairview church now occupied by John Kreis and family.


    The survivors include the widow, two sons, Emmett and Ralph, a daughter, Mrs. Homer Johnson, and a brother, Orren, all of Newark; a sister, Mrs. Frank Knicely of Columbus, three grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.


    Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with interment being made in a Newark cemetery.
