    L Wayne "Wink" Wisecarver, 70, of 7525 Adamsville Road, Adamsville, Ohio, died at 1:59 pm, Sunday, March 12, 1995 at Bethesda Hospital after a brief illness. Born June 15, 1924 in Adamsville, he retired in 1979 as a machinist at the Dura Corporation of South Zanesville. He was a graduate of Adamsville High School and an Army veteran, serving in World War II. Mr. Wisecarver founded the Little League program in Adamsville and was a former Little League Coach, both in Adamsville and Zanesville. Surviving are his wife, Betty C. Warren Wisecarver, whom he married 16 September, 1945; three sons Larry Wisecarver and Richard Wisecarver both of Adamsville and Dan Wisecarver of Dresden; two daughters Sue Basehart of Adamsville and Lori Wisecarver of Cambridge; a brother Walter Wisecarver of Adamsville; 10 grandchildren four great-grandchildren and several niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lemert V. and Dorothy V. Virts Wisecarver; and a son John Wisecarver in 1978. No calling hours will be observed. Grave side services will be at 1 pm, Wednesday March 15, 1995 at New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville, with the Rev. David Leckrone officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Vensil & Orr Funeral Home. 8005 East Street, Adamsville is in charge of arrangements.
