    Charles V. White and Miss Florence M. Virts were married in Zanesville Wednesday evening, November 12, 1919, by Rev. Herbert Scott. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. S. A. Virts, of Gilbert Route 1 and is a popular young lady among those with whom she is associated. The bridegroom is a well respected young man of the Zanesville vicinity. He was a soldier in the World War and took part in some of the active service overseas. At present he is employed at the coal mining camp near Sonora.

    Mrs Florence M. White, 77 of 5325 Piper Road died suddenly at 6:30 pm, Friday at her home. Born December 17, 1899 in Salem Township, a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Carrie Adams Virts, Mrs. White had spent her life-time in Muskingum County. Mrs. White attended Washington Township Baptist Church and was a member of Frank M. Ransbottom Chapter 374 OES of Adamsville. Her husband Charles White died, January 7, 1951. One son is also dead. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eileen Lane of the home, Mrs. Billy (Irma) Parry of 3290 Parry Drive and Mrs. Carl (Verna) Donelson of Adamsville; a sister Mrs. Dorothy Wisecarver of Adamsville; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at Washington Township Baptist Church with Rev. Richard McNeish officiating. The body was taken to Shirer and Son Funeral Home and then returned to the residence where friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm today and monday. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
