News/Obit* after 29 November 1998  Norman Amore, 85 FRUITLAND PARK, Fla - Norman Amore, 85, of Fruitland Park, Fla., formerly of Coshocton, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998 in Leesburg, Fla. Born Dec. 29, 1912 in Roscoe, he was a retired plumber and a member of the Coshocton Moose Lodge 935. Mr. Amore was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 460th AAA Automatic Weapons Battalion. Surviving are his wife: Iva Mae (Miller) Amore, whom he married Jan. 14, 1944; a stepson, Robert Miller of Dublin; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Amore of Las Vegas, Nev. and Eugene Amore of Clarksville, Ariz*; and two sisters, Gertrude Shackelford of Zanesville and Marie Quirk of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ella (House) Amore, a stepson, Gerald Miller; and two brothers, Gail and Bervil Amore. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton. Services are 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 1998 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jonathon McCleery officiating. Burial will follow in the Coshocton Memorial Gardens. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
