Marguerite M. "Maggie" Heckathorn, age 81, of Massillon died Thursday evening at Massillon Community Hospital. She was born in Killbuck to the late H. Cliff and Ina I. (Close) Lemmon and had been a Massillon resident for 50 years. Marguerite was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Faith Lutheran Sowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Heckathorn in 1991; son, Robert James Heckathorn in 1962; sisters, Eva Fath, Ruth Doyle and Barbara Levengood; brother, Tom Lemmon. Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Vicky (Richard) Marceric of Massillon; two grandchildren, Jamie (Carrie) Marceric and Chad Marceric; sister, Helen Bratton of Millersburg; three brothers, Buss (Wanda) Close of Killbuck; Harry Lemmon of Lake Worth, FL; Bob (Janet) Lemmon of Lake Worth, FL; special friends, Ruth Turskey, Marie Allshouse, and Doris Hill; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. G. Karl Gaston officiating. Burial in Massillon Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
