Kenneth B. Cargould left Wednesday morning, August 27, to be the guardian angel for his family, especially the beautiful grandchildren who were the center of his life.

He was born in Akron, July 1942, grew up in the North-ampton and Boston Township area and lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. He worked for Terex in Hudson and retired from the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. His greatest joy was being involved in the lives of his kids.

He leaves his wife of 38 years, Jane; sons, Bradley (Wendy) and Keith (Stevie); daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Belty and Heather (John) Hayden; grandchildren, Macie, Abby, Kaylin, Tyler, Braden, Noah, Ian, Lexi and Ryan; father, Bernard Bud Cargould; sisters, Karen (Don) Wolff and Janet (Marty) Winland; brother, Gary (Ellie)Cargould; and special cousins, Don (Eileen) Cargould and Shirley (Jim) Colwell as well as other family and friends.

Heartfelt thanks to the Hospice of Summa for all their support, Nat, Kathy, Alissa and Paula.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. Family and friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main, Akron 44310 or to the Falls Cancer Club.
