| News/Obit* | 30 April 2011 | Monongahela Womens Club News Published in the Union Finley Messenger, Saturday, 30 April 2011 The Monongahela Woman’s Club recent meeting was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Monongahela. The 100th year birthday celebration of Gretchen Turner had all of the members singing to Gretchen and wishing her well. She received many cards and a birthday cake. Her family and friend from the Methodist church also attended our celebration for Gretchen. Gretchen has been a member of the Club for over 60 years and has played the piano for special occasions for the Club functions. At one time the Monongahela Woman’s Club had a small choir that Gretchen helped with.3 |
