News/Obit* 25 November 1989  William Ralph Little, 67, of 314 N. Fourth St., died at 6 p.m. Friday (Nov 24, 1989) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 18, 1922 at Newcomerstown, son of the late Samuel and Bertha Herbert Little. He was a veteran of World War II, United States Army. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2901 and an employee of Mosser Glass Co.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Mr. Little leaves his wife, Violet G. Miller, who he married June 8, 1949; two sons, Albert R. Little, Knoxville, Tenn. and Ralph w. Little, Farmington, N.M.; two brothers, Raymond Little, West Lafayette, and Samuel W. Little, Coshocton; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Engle, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. William (Ruth) Wise, Newcomerstown; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Thorn Funeral Home where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Kenneth Kirk officiating.
Military graveside services, conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council, will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
