News/Obit*	1 June 1970	Clarence E. Cosgrove Clarence E. (Curly) age 73 of 1029 Smith Ave. SW, passed away Sunday afternoon in Mercy Hospital where he had been admitted earlier in the day. His death was due to an apparent heart attack. Born in Cambridge, Ohio he had lived the greater portion of his life in Canton. He was a retired employee of the Ekco Products Co. of Massillon and had been employed by the former Republic Stamping and Enameling Company in Canton before it was purchased by the Ekco Co. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Thelma Cosgrove of the home, two sons; Richard Cosgrove of Canton and Harold Cosgrove of New York, two daughters: Alice and Mabel Cosgrove, two stepdaughters: Mrs. Vernon (Margaret) Graff of Canton and Mrs. Orvin (Gladine) Everhart of North Industry: brother, Russel Cosgrove of West Mifflin, Pa.. There are six grandchildren and five step grandchildren; a great granddaughter and three step-great grandchildren. Services will be conducted wed. at 2:30 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Henniger officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
