| News/Obit* | 16 May 1994 | CHARLES DEWEY SLOAN There will be no service. Mr. Sloan was born Jan. 6, 1899, in Chicago. He died May 11, 1994, in Sandy of causes related to age. He was 95. Mr. Sloan moved to Oregon in 1925, and worked for Consolidated Freightways until he bought a sheep ranch near Eagle Creek in the 1940s. He moved to Gresham in 1988 and to Sandy a few months ago. He married Lillian Soderberg in the 1930s. They were later divorced. Mr. Sloan is survived by his sister, Olive Gage of Spearfish, S.D.; niece, Marjory Kulp of Englewood, Colo., and several other nieces and nephews. Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
