| News/Obit* | 8 July 2004 | Bradley B. Rang, 68, died Friday, June 25, Bradley B. Rang was born June 13, 1936 ,he was the son of Walter and Goldie Rang. Raised in Parker his early years, before moving to Sioux Falls. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after attending high school in Sioux Falls. He was united in marriage to Connie Spicer in October 1957 at Little Oil Rock, Ark. He retired from a career in the U.S. Air Force in 1979. They moved to Freeman after his retirement and he served as chief of police there for ten years. They then moved to Brandon where he lived until his unexpected death in his residence. Preceding him in death were his wife in 2001, his son Michael in 1961, his father in 1979 and his mother in 2003. Grateful for having shared his life are two daughters, Tammy (Todd) Lee of Apple Valley, Minn., Sandra Scholten of Sioux Falls; one sister Rebecca Preheim of Freeman, and one brother Walter (Nadine) Rang Jr. of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren, Max Scholten, Hannah Lee, Elliott Lee, Katie Lee and Ketch Osborne. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 29 at Hoftneister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery in Parker.
