Frances "Pud" Barnes, 67, of Palmetto, Fla., and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton. The Eagleport, Ohio, native was a homemaker, a member and past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 514 in Fort Wayne, Good Ole Boys Club of Palmetto and Palm View Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Harold E.; daughters Vicki M. Williams of Bradenton and Nyoka A. Sanders of Bonita Springs; a son, Benny E. of Seattle; a sister, Judy Schnorf of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; and seven grandchildren. Services were Nov. 3 at Palmetto Funeral Home, Palmetto.
