Miller Joyce A. Miller , age 75, of Canton, OH, passed away quietly on Thursday while visiting her daughter and son-in-law in Tampa, FL. Born in New Philadelphia, OH on July 28, 1927 to her parents, the late Norman and Elsie Chidsey. She had worked as a secretary before retiring from the Visiting Nurse Society. She was a member of Lowell United Church of Christ, where she faithfully served on the Church Library Committee, the Altar Guild and the Young at Heart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miller ; daughter, Cheryl Miller . Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bob Moore of Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Victoria Miller of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Matthew, Emily and Alexander; great-grandson, Jad; brother, Bill Chidsey of North Canton; sister, Ella Jane Ohliger of Massillon; many nieces, nephews and friends. A service of Celebration will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond L. Tucker officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cincinnati Association for the Blind, 2045 Gilbert Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45202 or any agency serving the blind in your area.
