Nonagenarian Died At Home Near Buffalo


    Silas May, one of the oldest residents of the county, died Wednesday afternoon, July 26, while sitting in a chair at the residence of Roy Holler, Rt. 1 Buffalo Mills, aged 95. His wife, who was Elizabeth Sheirer, died Sept. 1, 1939, at the age of 91. He was a son of Leonard and Catherine (Yonkon) May.


    The following children survive, Mrs. Laura Holler, Cresaptown, Md.; Harry of Bedford, Theodore of Oregon, George of East Freedom, John of Boynton, Mrs. Louise Robinson of Akron, 0., Mrs. Stella Deniker of Grove City, and Mrs. Sallie Newman of Salisbury. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today at the Holler home, where he had resided the past year, and interment made in Dry Ridge cemetery in charge of Mortician Harvey Zeigler of Hyndman.
