Loretta D. Robertson , 57, of Akron, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 20, 1995.

Mrs. Robertson was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and was a graduate of the Mt. Vernon High School, where she was Homecoming Queen and Valedictorian. She received her Bachelor of Science with honors from the Ohio State University and was a former instructor in the Columbus School for Practical Nursing. A 30-year resident of Akron, Mrs. Robertson attended Akron University School of Law. She was a former head nurse in 1960 to the president of the American College of Surgery, was a former instructor for the American Red Cross (Akron Chapter) and the Akron Board of Education School for Practical Nurses. She was also nursing supervisor at the Rockynol Retirement Home. Mrs. Robertson was certified as a gerentological nurse (clinical specialist) by the ANCS. She was a current member of Who's Who in American Nursing, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at Ohio State University, the Akron Woman's City Club, Fairlawn Garden Club (past president), Eastern Star Chapter 236, Multiple 4-H Clubs, and a devoted member of the Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Robertson was an accomplished pianist.

Preceded in death by her father, Paul W. Davis, she is survived by her mother, Ethel U. Davis of Mt. Vernon; children, Tamsin Sue Robertson of Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Ted Emmons Robertson II of Akron, and Tara Davis Robertson of Orlando, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Larry J. and Nancy Davis of Grove City, Ohio; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services at 11 a.m. TODAY at the Christ United Methodist Church, 380 Mineola Ave., Akron 44320, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time, Dr. Michael J. O'Donnell officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Christ United Methodist Church.(Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr, Fairlawn Chapel, 867-7306.)
