Mary Ellen Carlton passed away May 7, 2004 in Marysville, Ohio.

Mary leaves her children, David E. (Margaret) of Montgomery, AL, Nancy Gruber of Cuyahoga Falls, Marcia (Michael) Keating of Marysville, Robert R. (Mary) of Brussels, Belgium; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and many beloved relatives including sisters, Martha Frederick and Frances Morris and brother, Jim (Maxine) Emmons.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack; granddaughter, Christine Grace Carlton and son-in-law, Frank Gruber. Mary was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed traveling and visiting her children. She and her husband wintered many years in Florida. She was a long-time member of the Akron F.O.P. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bridge and made beautiful quilts. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Gables Nursing Home in Marysville for the loving care given their mother.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY at the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Michael Roberts officiating. Private inurnment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends after the service in the Church social hall. Should friends desire, memorials, may be made to the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls; 2253 Third St., Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
