Paulyne D. Robertson, 87, passed away July 31, 1995 at Hospice Care Center.

Born in Akron on April 9, 1908, she was the daughter of Senator and Mrs. V. D. Emmons .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin P. Robertson, brothers, Judge Clande V.D. Emmons and Roscoe Emmons , and sister, Myrtle Henninger. She was the loving mother of sons, Ted E. Robertson, M.D. (Cathie) of Akron, and W. Denny Robertson, M.D. (Marty) of Medina; and dear grandmother of Tamsin, Ted, Heather, Tara, and Erin.

She attended the University of Akron, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and was May Queen, 1929. She was a member of the Women's City Clubs of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls, and an expert duplicate bridge player. She served as secretary to Rev. G. Garland Elliot of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a member of Akron City Hospital Women's Board and worked as a volunteer from 1962 to 1978, donating over 4000 hours of service.

The family will hold services at Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions in her name to the Hospice Care Center of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn 44333. (Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 723-3229, in charge of arrangements.)
