Gerald Thallman, 64, Tiffin, died at 10:15 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2005 at St. Vincent's Medical Mercy Center, Toledo.

He was born June 27, 1941 to Willard and Cornelia (Rogers) Thallman.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, Kim Clouse, Tony Thallman, Kirt Thallman, Angela Rohlen and Kent Thallman; eight great-nieces and nephews; and three brothers, Kenneth (Carolyn) Thallman, Tiffin; Donald (Janet) Thallman and David (Diane) Thallman, both of Fostoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Thallman was a lifetime farmer and worked part time at Magers Lumber. He was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church where he was an usher and trustee. He was also a member of Bascom Lions Club. He graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1959.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, in Bascom United Methodist Church with Pastor Cal Cook officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home, Tiffin, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Bascom United Methodist Church.
