Former Railway Conductor of
the W. & L. E., Dead - Fun-
eral Sunday


    Howard D. Jobe, aged 44 years, died Friday evening at the home of his father, James Jobe, No 906 East Second street, after an illness of three months, with congestion of the liver. He was born in Wayne county near Shreve, October 16, 1866, and was a railroad conductor for the past seven years. Until recently he was employed on the W. & L. E. road and resided at Coshocton. His father, mother, wife and three year-old daughter survive: also four of his brothers and two sisters. He was a member of the Pathfinders, of Coshocton. Funeral Serviceswill be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. interment in Westlawn cemetery.

DEATH OF A SON-IN-LAW.


    Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Snoots received a telephone message last Saturday, conveying to them the sad news of the death of their son-in-law, Howard Jobe, at Canton, O., on Friday night. A few years ago the deceased was hurt on a railroad and never fully recovered from the accident, although he was able to be about and do some work. He lived aboutseven miles from Canton, but a short time ago went to the house of his parents in that city for treatment, and died while there. He was 36 years of age and leaves a wife and one child. Funeral services took place Sunday at Canton.


    Mrs. Snoots accompanied by Mrs. C. A. Stotts, went to Canton Sunday to attend the funeral.
