Clyde A. McKinstry, 78, of Hartville, passed away Monday morning at Mercy Medical Center Emergency Room.

Clyde owned and operated Water Supplies East. Following his retirement, he was a part-time sales representative for Porter Metal in Mogadore. He was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, was an active member of the Hartville Lions Club, and past District Governor of District 13-D. Clyde was a World War II Army Air Force veteran, having served in the 461st Bomber Squadron.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Ron Flannagan of Massillon; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Lesley McKinstry of Findlay, Ohio; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg, Ohio, with Pastors Herbert Garnes III and Jonathan Eilert officiating. Interment will be at New Pittsburg Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville; and two hours prior to the service at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Hartville Lions Club or Amigos De Las Americas Ohio Chapter, P.O. Box 126, Kent 44240.(Arnold--Hartville, 877-9364.)
