Thomas T. "Tom" Morrison, 84, died at 1:45 p.m. Sept. 5, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, surrounded by all of his loving family.

He was born July 14, 1924, in Willshire to Floyd and Edna Hileman Morrison, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 1, 1946, he married Alyce M. Rider, who survives.

Mr. Morrison was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and attended the Friends Church, both in Spencerville. He was a 1942 graduate of Spencerville High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked 50 years at the Ohio Decorative products Company in Spencerville, mainly as a plater. He loved his family and all their activities.

Survivors also include four children, Linda Morrison and Debby Morrison, both of Spencerville, David Morrison, of Germantown, and Lori Morrison, of Lima; six grandchildren, Stephen Stanfield, Liz (Tom) Bacome, Missy Stanfield, T.J. Stanfield, all of Spencerville, William Morrison, of Colorado, and Meg Morrison, of Dayton; and five great-grandchildren, Tony Grigsby, Ashley Stanfield, Alex Stanfield, Devin Chappell and Madison Zizelman, all of Spencerville.

He was preceded in death by a brother, A.C. Morrison; and an infant sister, Isaveria Morrison.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Friends Church. Pastors Ron Drage and Rod Abram will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville and after noon Tuesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Delphos Senior Citizens or the Council for the Aging of Lima.
