On May 29, 1976 he married Terry Campbell of London, Ohio. Before moving to Fla. in 1978 he resided in Wolf Lake. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bartow. Survivors include his wife; his mother of Wawaka, Ind.; 2 daughters, Cheryl Gerdes, R. 4, Columbia City, and Debra Straub, R. 8, Columbia City; 2 stepdaughters, Ruth Ann Boyer, Bartow, Fla., and Robin Goodrich, Wolf Lake; 2 brothers, Robert, Wawaka, and Max, Knapp Lake; 5 sisters, Mildred and Vera Rose, Wawaka, Doris Price, Kimmell, Helen Knapp, Fort Myers, Fla., and Beverly Sponhauer, Ligonier. A brother, Alvin, and a sister, Ruth Coe, preceded him in death. Services Aug. 14 at Widden Funeral Home, Bartow. Burial, Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow. + 8-10-19861 |
