News/Obit* October 1977  Wysong Charles, 77, R. 1, Wawaka, died Monday in Goshen Hospital. Born Nov. 16, 1899 in Noble County, he was the son of Laird and Addie May (Emmitt) Wysong. He married Lavon Fulk May 6, 1921 in Los Angeles, Calif. He had been a lifetime resident of Noble County and was a retired lumber retailer. Survivors are 5 daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Rose and Mrs. John (Vera) Rose, Wawaka, Mrs. Thad (Doris) Price, Kimmell, Mrs. Calvin (Helen) Knapp, Fremont, and Mrs. Marvey Sponhauer, Ligonier; 4 sons, Alvin and Max of Kimmell, Charles "Bob", Wawaka, and Earl, Wolf Lake; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Funk, Fort Wayne; 2 brothers, Raido, Mishawaka, and Kenneth, Orlando, Fla.; 29 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral Thursday in Ulrey Funeral Home, Ligonier. Burial, Oak Park Cemetery. + 10-?-19771
