News/Obit* 31 March 1896  Obituary,
DIED OF LUNG FEVER

The youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Adams died at their residence two miles east of town early Monday morning of lung fever. The child was about eighteen months old.

About two or three months ago the child was taken sick with some peculiar disease which yielded stubbornly to the physicians treatment and consequently was in no condition to withstand an attack of the lung fever.

Owing to a case of scarlet fever developing in Mr. Adams' family, Saturday the funeral will be private. Rev. Thomas Wood will officiate. The remains will be interred in the New Hope cemetery.

Appeared in the Adamsville Register, 31 Mar, 1896.
