FOGUS, IRENE M.

Irene Motherspaugh Fogus, of Roanoke, died Sunday evening in a local hospital. She was the widow of Charles A. Fogus, Sr., owner and operator of Fogus Motor Company (one of the first automobile companies in the Roanoke Valley). Mrs. Fogus was a member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church and the Harmon Bible Class there, and was retired from Roanoke Memorial Hospital Premature and Newborn Nursery. Surviving are a son, Charles A. (Chuck) Fogus, Jr., of Roanoke; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
