News/Obit* 2 January 1997  Obituary, HAROLD W. BRUBAKER, 90, a former car and real estate salesman, died Jan. 1, 1997, at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St. Private graveside services are planned. Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., is handling arrangements.

Mr. Brubaker was born July 10, 1906, in Fruita to Albert C. and Mary A.( Firestone ) Brubaker, who are deceased.

He was married May 11, 1932, in Colorado Springs to Anita F. (Constant) Brubaker, who lives in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Brubaker is also survived by a son, Richard W. of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Constance A. Collier of Grand Junction; a brother, Kermit C. of Palisade; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

He attended Friends University in Wichita, Kan., and the University of Wisconsin.

Mr. Brubaker was an elder of the First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Colorado Springs Downtown Lions Club and Winter Night Club.

He had lived in Colorado Springs since 1928. He had previously lived in Woodward, Okla., and Wichita, Kan.
