Note*   Anna M. Firestone relates the following: "Raymond Firestone was born in the back of a covered wagon coming across Kansas to the Oklahoma panhandle. His sister, Esta, confirmed his birth in order for him to acquire a Birth Certificate."

She also states that he was not given a middle name and chose the middle intial "A" himself.

Raymond Firestone "was a redresser in the Kilgore oil boom, and also had his own plane to do crop dusting. They moved to Rodessa LA and ran a "mom & pop" grocery store during World War II."

"The family relocated to Broken Bow, OK where Raymond became a pipefitter out of the local union at Muskogee, OK. and ran a farm for over 45 years, then moved to Shreveport, LA for their final years."3
