Kenneth D. Hollinger, 75, died December 29, 2003 in Springfield, MO. Mr. Hollinger will be cremated in Greenlawn Crematory under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will be at a later date in Lineville, IA.


The son of Gerald and Gertrude Hollinger, he was born March 24, 1928 in Lineville, IA. Ken was a retired employee of the FAA, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.


He is survived by his wife, Willa Norlyne "Dory" Hollinger one son, Jim Hollinger of Springfield, MO six daughters, Barbara Coughennower of St. Joseph, MO, Janice Roland of Clarinda, Kristi and Dan Porter, Terri and Rick Sinn, Kathi and Dick Labertew all of Indianola and Jackie Mueller of Nixa, MO one stepson, Rick Elgin of Pensacola, FL 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Des Moines Bethel Mission.
