Congress--S. C. Harbaugh, 68, of Congress Twp., died Sunday afternoon after a short illness at Lodi Hospital. A son of Daniel and Mary Clinker Harbaugh, he was born Feb. 16, 1890, in Congress Twp.


He was a member of Aukerman Church of God.


Surviving are two sons, Robert of Jeromesville, and Max of West Salem; two daughters, Mrs. R. E. Herman and Mrs. Duane Kline, both of West Salem RD 2; 10 grandchildren; and three brothers, Warren of Big Prairie, Ernest and Ray of West Salem RD 2; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Whitmore of West Salem RD 3, Mrs. Lucy Garman of Lodi, and Mrs. Florence Holmes of Lodi RD 1.


He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret 10 weeks ago, and one daughter Ruth (infant).


Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Aukerman Church of God, with the Rev. Earl Levers officiating. Burial will be in Congress Cemetery.


Friends may call at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem Tuesday afternoon and evening.
