Note*   The book "North Canton (Ohio) Heritage, Volume 1", records that Henry Firestone and Mary Hoffstot Firestone came into Plain township, Stark county, Ohio in the year 1830. It also indicates Henry's father, Nicholas Firestone came around 1806. Henry was given this land which was a half a section located in Middlebranch, Plain township, Stark County, Ohio.

In the 1850 census Henry and Mary have a boy, 2, named Henry Firestone born in Pennsylvania. The Firestone Family History does not include this child. It is most likely Clinton who was 2 in 1850 but not listed.
