One of 2 oldest children (Henry is the other) still living in Ohio.Listed in Biographical and Historical memories of Muskingham County Ohio 1892. page 473. Barbara Geyer married Joseph Decker of Norwich.

NOTE----Is there a connection between Joseph Decker and Noah Decker who had the first mill in Highland Township on NW quarter of Section 14 in 1815?????---Who did Joseph name his oldest son after?????
Deed Book Vol 31, page 598 & 599;
James Taggert and wife Mary D. to Joseph Decker and wife Barbara, the southeast corner of the southwest quarter, of section 7, township 1, range 5, in the U.S. Military Tract containing one acre more or less, in consideration of sum of $50. With the stipulation that if Josph Decker wants to sell he will give James Taggert refusal of the same. 12th November, 1851

Deed Book 31, page 599 & 600;
Joseph Decker & Barbara Decker to James Taggert & wife Mary D. Taggert for the sum of $75 paid to James Taggert on the 29th December, 1851 Joseph and Barbara sold the above property back to the Taggerts.

Moses will in 1860 listed him as Muskingum Cinty, Ohio, about 50.

The 1860 Census of Sunbeam, Mercer Cnty., Ill under Benjamin Decker, Henry Decker, age 24, Laborer, born in Ohio is listed. I believe this is the son of Joseph Decker.1
