    Mrs Charles C. Brown received news of the death of her aunt, Mrs Ira Stevens, aged about 95, at the home of her son in Iowa. The remains were brought to Victory, Wisconsin for interment Friday. She came with her father, Moses Decker and his family in 1847. She was the first young lady to live in Viroqua. It was not long after coming here that she married Ira Stevens, moving to Victory which was her home until the death of her husband. Two daughters and a son survive.
