135. Benjamin Dungan, 46, son of Abel and Gaynor (Lukens) Dungan, b. circa 1765, near Horsham, Pa., d. April 1853, in Farmington, Belmont Co., Ohio. m. circa 1791, Mary Lukens, b. d. daughter of Benjamin and Alice (Cadwallader) Lukens, who were married Feb. 10, 1755. (74).
 

Alice Cadwallader was a daughter of Isaac, and a great granddaughter of the pioneer John Cadwallader. (46, p. 718). Benjamin and Alice made an acknowledgment 3/21/1757, for having married contrary to Friends' rules. Benjamin Lukens was in Harford County. Md., in 1790. Benjamin and Mary (Lukens) Dungan removed to Lycoming County, Pa., prior to 1798, as their daughter Sarah C. Cope, was born there this year. They returned to Maryland and Mary Dungan, formerly Lukens, was reinstated a member of ,Deer Creek Friends' meeting 1804. In 1805, she returned again to Lycoming County, Pa. as June 19, 1805, she requested the Catawissa Meeting to be re-instated in membership, having made an acknowledgment that she had married her first cousin and had been disowned by Deer Creek Friends.

136. Peter Dungan, 46, son of Abel and Gaynor (Lukens) Dungan, b. circa 1767. m. circa 1792, Ann Stevenson, (Also spelled Stephenson).
 

He settled in Harford County, Md., and was named after his mother's father, Peter Luckens.

 

Issue: (312-314) Abel Stevenson, Stevenson and Gainor. (dates of birth not known).

 

137. William Dungan, 49, son of Benjamin and Mary (Sharp) Dungan, b. circa 1770, d. in Baltimore, Md. m-
 

He He was in the Boot and Shoe business in Baltimore, Md., from 1802 until 1819 and was mentioned in Mary Sharp's will.
