123. Dr. Clement Dungan, of Moreland, 34, son of Clement and Eleanor (Craven) Dungan. b. circa 1746, d. Jan. 29, 1778. m. Aug. 4, 1773 (36) Sarah Bond, b. 1/23/1757, d. 10/28/1784 (63) daughter of Abraham and Elizabeth (Cadwalader) Bond.

She lost her membership in Abington Friends Meeting for having married in church one who was not a member. She m. 2. Nov. 2, 1781 (27) Joseph Tomkins.

The will of Dr. Clement Dungan, dated November 9, 1777, pr. October 17, 1780, mentions wife Sarah and children Elizabeth and Clement.

Executors: Brothers James, Jeremiah and Elias Dungan. 
Witnesses: Jacob Tomkins, Samuel Gourley and Samuel Shoemaker.

Issue (290-291) Elizabeth and Clement.

124. James Dungan, 34, son of Clement and Eleanor (Craven) Dungan, d. 1788. m. 1 by license dated June 6, 1774 (?) Catharine Jones, daughter of Rev. Samuel and Elizabeth (Dunn?) Jones, of Buckingham, Bucks County, Pa. and grand- daughter of Benjamin and Katherine (Krewson) Jones, who were married Oct. 12, 1717. (34) m.-2. Sarah Corbet Crosley, widow of Charles Crosley and a sister of Phoebe Corbet, who married John Dungan, son of John and Sarah. (no issue by her).

"Dec. 18, 1762, Clement and Elinor Dungan deeded 206 acres to their son James, adjoining land of David Dungan and Joseph Richardson, part of 210 acres which Jeremiah Dungan and Mary his wife conveyed Feb. 1, 1744/5 to said Clement, their son, and part of the tract they had conveyed Nov. 22 and 23, 1751, to Robert Corning and Ann his wife." (Recorded Aug. 14, 1797) (26 Vol. 29, p. 361).

Sept. 22, 1781, James Dungan and Sarah his wife, deeded to John Thompson, 206 acres, being part of three tracts which Jeremiah and Mary Dungan confirmed to their son Clement, father of said James."

"April 1, 1788, James Dungan, of Northampton and Sarah his wife, conveyed to Derick Krewson, 107 acres adjoining land of Jeremiah Dungan and Thomas Dungan, part of 206 acres which Jeremiah Dungan the elder, and Mary his wife, deeded Feb. 1, 1744 to their son Jeremiah, who by his will of July 29, 1785, did nominate his sons Thomas and Solomon executors, who sold the same to James Dungan, party hereto, March 23, 1786." (26 Book B 25, p. 11).

"Dec. 6, 1788, Sarah Dungan, widow of James, of Northampton, Bucks County, Pa., who before her marriage to James was the widow of Charles Crosley, of Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, Mason, conveyed land to Nathan Marple." (Montgomery Co. deed book 48, p. 500).

The will of James Dungan, of Northampton, Bucks County,. Pa., dated Sept. 22, 1788, pr. Oct. 4, 1788, mentions wife Sarah, brother Elias, and friend Samuel Erwin, of Moreland, as Executors. Names a son Samuel and a daughter Jane and their grandfather Samuel John (or Jones) deceased; wife's sister Phoebe Dungan, niece Elizabeth, daughter of brother Clement; brothers: Jeremiah and Elias. Witnesses: Garret and Joshua Dungan and Hugh Edams.

The will of Sarah Dungan, of Northampton, dated April 5, 1807, pr. June 4, 1813, mentions Stepson Dr. Samuel Dungan, sister Catrin Roughcorn, stepdaughter Jane Folwell; Sarah Folwell daughter of William; Elizabeth Near, sister's daughter Phoebe Dungan.

Executors: Stepson Samuel Dungan and William Folwell. 
Witnesses: Joshua Dungan, Sarah Hart and James Dungan.

Issue (292-293) Dr. Samuel and Jane.
