Elizabeth Dungan, 1, daughter of William and
Deborah (Wing) Dungan. No records concerning her have been found by the
writer. 15.
Nathaniel West, 2, son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth
(Dungan) West. b. circa, 1685. m. circa 1706, Elizabeth June
25, 1719, Nathaniel West, husbandman, and Elizabeth his wife, conveyed to John
Addis, of Philadelphia County, Pa., a tract of land; the deed referring to a
grant by Clement and Thomas Dungan, to Nathaniel West, Dec. 7, 1708, recorded
in Book 4, p. 27. (Deed Book 13, p. 274, Bucks County). May
4, 1749, Nathaniel West, of Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pa., Yeoman,

Township adjoining land of Joseph Burgess, Joseph Fell and Joseph Jackson. (26).
April
13, 1743, Matthias Keen, of Bristol Borough, Carpenter, and Susannah his wife,
deeded to Nathaniel West, of Warwick, 65 acres, deed witnessed by Samuel
Kennedy, John West and Samuel West. (26).
The
"Welsh Settlers of Hilltown and New Britain, Bucks County, Pa." MS.
by Rev. Edward Matthias (30) much of which was originally collected
about the year 1835, contains a list of what purports to be the children of
Nathaniel and Elizabeth (Dungan) West; but as the births of some are given,
which are many years after the deaths of both Nathaniel and Elizabeth (Dungan)
West, the children referred to are doubtless the issue of their son Nathaniel
who also married an Elizabeth (surname unknown to writer). Issue:
(60-68) Martha, Elizabeth, Mary, Abigail, Thomas, Jonathan, John,
Rebecca and Nathaniel. 16.
Thomas West, 2, son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth
(Dungan) West. 17.
Elizabeth Doyle, 5, daughter of Edmund and Rebecca
(Dungan) Doyle. b. 1688, died 4/17/1784, in her 97th year. m. 3/10/1711, at
Buckingham Meeting, Joseph Fell, widower, b. October 19, 1668, at Longlands,
parish of Uldale, Cumberland, d. 4/9/1748, at Buckingham, Bucks County, Pa.,
son of John and Margaret Fell, of Longlands, parish of Uldale, Cumberland. His
first wife whom he married 3/2/1700, at the Meeting House at Caldbecke, was
Bridget Willson, of Granary, parish of Caldbecke, Cumberland, b. 3/19/1673, d.
5/7/1708, daughter of John and Elizabeth (unknown) Wilson, of Granary. Among
the witnesses to Elizabeth Doyle's marriage, were Edward and Clement Doyle,
her brothers, Deborah and Joseph Large, and Thomas West, doubtless a son of
Nathaniel and Elizabeth (Dungan) West. Joseph Fell left "a narrative or
an account of birth and transaction of life from child to old age," which
interesting document is published in the Genealogy of the Fell Family 1891, by
Sarah M. Fell, and was in possession of Judge D. Newlin Fell. In speaking of
Elizabeth Doyle, his second wife, he says, "Her father was an Irishman
and her mother born in Rhode Island near New England," and "we have
lived together about 34 years and she is about 20 years younger than I. I am
now in my 77th year and have 11 children, 4 by my first wife and 7 by the
second, and they are all yet living. Dated at Buckingham 12/6/1744." Elizabeth
Doyle was a Minister of the Society of Friends and tradition says she was very
beautiful. The
following are among her descendants: Linda
Alice Wilson b. Nov. 18, 1867 (Fell Family p. 156). m. April 20, 1907,
George Corson of. Plymouth Meeting, Pa. Elizabeth
Marion Young, b. Oct. 6, 1861 (Fell Family p. 157). m. Nov. 11, 1886
George B. Miller of Philadelphia.
