Notes for DANIEL LUTZ:
List of children is from Margaret Lutes - 1969. The annals of Lincoln County article by W. A. Lutz says he had four sons and six daughters. Listed the sons as Eli, Ambrose, Ephraim and Manlius which agrees with Lutes on sons. W. A. Lutz states Daniel built a home eight miles west of Lincolnton. He was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Daniel and both his wives are buried at Trinity Lutheran Church, Catawba, NC. Daniel was only six months old when his father drew his will so he didn't really have a father. Jacob and Daniel are the only two sons who remained in central North Carolina.

Mary Brown as first wife is clear since the bond was witnessed by Daniel Clodfelter who married George's sister Mary. The bond date is the same as Mary and Daniel's marriage date in Ernestine's history. maybe they did all marry on the same day. Confirmed in Margaret Lutes Book.
