My mother is a SAWYER. I can take this line back to John H. and Jenetta Sawyer. They are buried in the Mason Hall Cemetary in Obion County, Tennessee. John H. was born in NC and Jenetta in AL. As far as my research tells they were farmers, as most still are. There are a lot of Sawyer descendants of this line in the same area now. John H.
