My fathers mother is a Nevil. Willie Louise Nevil Webb was born October 20, 1912 at the Forks of the River in Gibson County, Tennessee. My grandmother has been a dynamo all her life. She is 95 years old and officially retired this year. Her family line goes back to Thomas Nevil, a Revolutionary War veteran. Descendants of Thomas are scattered all over the world. I have been lucky enough to have a family history compiled by My Aunt, Wilma Elizabeth Webb Turner. Thanks to her hard work Nevil research is a lot easier. A lot of the Nevil family still lives in West Tennessee and Blue Ridge, Texas. |
